The fierce fierce outfits of Project Runway
Well, I don’t know about the rest of you intrepid Project Runway fans, but I (for once) totally agreed with all of the judges’ decisions! With a disclaimer.
I want the outfit that Christian made! It was the winning outfit in my book, but not the winning *wrestling* outfit, and that’s what ultimately counted. I really liked Jillian’s outfit too, the sporty cut, the color (remember that Nina likes blue too ). But the clear winner to me was definitely Chris. That outfit was da bomb. And didn’t she look great in it?
For the losers, I was torn between Sweet P and Ricky. But both DD and I decided, long before it was over, that Ricky’s bathing suit look was going to be his downfall this time. Both Sweet P and Rami had some flaws in their outfits (what was Rami thinking, draping boobs that large in clingy pink fabric?), but the inappropriateness of Ricky’s style just killed him this time. I actually thought the color looked pretty good on her, but it just wasn’t an over-the-top wrestling outfit.
So what did you all think? Did the judges do right this time? How do you think Sweet P could have improved her boring outfit?

I’m another huge PR ran. It is THE best reality show on TV. I love to see how other designers think and work and it is always amazing how much good AND bad can show up on PR.
I tend to watch the marathons over and over as I see new things every time I watch.

I watched one of the marathons to get caught up with this season since it’s the first one I’ve ever watched. As you can tell, I’m totally hooked, and I’ve requested the first season from my local library :-)

I can see how you like Christian’s outfit, the workmanship was great. Again, however, he went 80’s again. Yet, instead of Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ look, he gave us JANET Jackson. Please tell me you see it too!!
I also agree with the judges. This challenge was absolutely MADE for Chris though. I’m glad to see Ricky finally go. He’s been saved on several challenges, but I think it was for drama and not skill. He has some good points, but has failed miserably at other times.

Oh you are totally right, Hope…Christian’s outfit is Janet all the way. I love it though. Not that I’d be squeezing this old body into it anytime soon!
I’m really glad that Ricky got a win before he was sent home. I think he’s got loads of talent, but I don’t think the style and pressure of the competition was made for him. As for Chris…that outfit said it all :-)

I am with the judges this time… I loved it- I love Chris too… he’s far out!
