December’s Cold Moon
I decided to use some sequins that were hanging around this time. After I had finished the moon’s halo and the swirls of “coldness”, it still seemed to need something. I had originally thought I would only use clear and white beads, including for the border, but I didn’t like the lack of definition I was left with. Back to the drawing board, and sequins to the rescue. Fortunately, I also had some matte aurora borealis 8/0seed beads which matched the colors of the sequins to use for the border! I’m content with this one.

Great design, Cyndi! Wow…that’s just…really intricate and amazing. I love coming up with creative little things like that. I wish I was that creative–I just have to settle with things like diamonds. Speaking of, you should check out My Dove’s new contest, “Expressions of Love” where you could win a 5.58cts. “Baby’s Breath” diamond necklace worth over 21K just for showing how unique your love expressions are. Your change in plans regarding all white beads is certainly successful!!! My favorite part is the halo around the moon. I see it in the sky all the time, but have never seen it done with beads prior to this. Bravo!
