Pantone Fashion Color Report for Spring 2008
It gets to be totally ridiculous how far ahead color predictions are made these days. They’re not really “predictions” either, are they? By stating that these are the new colors for the season, the color industry makes it so. What power ;-)

Variations on popular colors such as energizing red, cool, waterborne blue and eco-friendly green also play a key role this season.
‘The spring ‘08 color palette perfectly reflects the cheerfulness of the season,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. “Stabilizing neutrals combined with pops of brighter colors to create unique, distinctive looks are the basis for a great spring and summer wardrobe.’ ”

Good information to have. Considering that these are the colors of new clothes coming out, I could get started making new jewelry to match.
unfortunately it can get bad when you just have to get a new shirt to match that necklace….
