Tammy talks about an article she recently read which deals with various jewelry-related ethical issues such as free trade. Even though many of us are “small time” designers, that doesn’t mean we can’t at least listen to this on-going conversation which is a hot button issue in the jewelry industry right now.

Hi: I am just getting starting with reading and creating jewelry blogs. I am enjoying getting started with all of the wonderful jewelry-making sites out there. I am particularly interested in interchangeable jewelry designs. Do you know of any sites that would be good to know about?
Thank you,
Denise Couling

There are many many sites that pop up simply by googling “interchangeable jewelry” :-)

Thank you so much, Cyndi. That helps. I am still trying to avoid all of the European charms and “pop out” stones pieces and see if there is a blog or website more for jewelry makers and beaders who share design idea. I will keep looking and see what I can find — that Google list is long!
Thx again!

I can understand that…many are way too cookie-cutter for my tastes :-)
