I have always loved jewelry. I have collected pieces here and there, some costume and others heirlooms which I have had for over 20 years. My family moved around alot and therefore there is very little handmedown, but I am hoping I can have a nice collection of things to pass on to my daughter since she is also building an affinity for the jewelry making business. It has always been a dream of mine to start a small business focused on some sort of crafting. It is a way for me and my mom (and now my daughter) to share stuff together. We are the 3 musketeers, 3 women doing things together that we enjoy, value and have loads of fun doing. This is when we make the time to share with each other given our intensive work and school schedules. This sounds like a great book to add to my library. I will keep it under consideration.

I have started to try to teach myself to make very simple jewelery. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. I have been using dollar store beads untill I get better.I hoping if I win the book it will help me get better at jewelery making and I can upgrade my beads.

4 yrs ago I was a bored disabled lady and stopped at Quarzasite AZ.That turned me around Beading is more then glitter & Beads I can have friends anywhere just by showing them or talking about making it.I have a small group that donated very nice necklaces I was the teacher free for the Veterens Home for them to give away to their wives and Grandchildren the beading people are a friendly type of people. True happyness is put in ever stitch any state people are happier making something pretty.

I’m a voracious beader. I love beading and polymer clay craft. This book will add to my collection I guess (if I win!)
