Get Jewelry Inspiration This Month!

Grab your beads, wire, metal, and more and get ready for inspiration to hit - zing! - this November at the Jewelry and Beading Blog.
About this time of year is when we seriously start getting into some jewelry making. The holidays are near, but we still have some time to experiment and be creative before those presents are due or those special customer orders are rolling in. If you are looking for inspiration or even if you’re not ;) you’ll find it here this month….starting with….
My More is Better Necklace! This is a great way to use a mixture of supplies and make one of a kind jewelry pieces for those special people in your life. This is a super long necklace combining bits of chain, wire, and beads, beads, beads. So, while technique-wise it’s not super hard, it does take some time just because (a) it’s long and (b) each bead pattern is different. This is more of a method than an exact science, so get started now and make a few before the holidays get any closer.

I have thought about the notion of jewelry making for some time now but really did not know how to get started and was reluctant to just jump into it without having some idea what to do and how. But my accident I found this site and I am excited to see if it will help me learn what I don’t know and find a new hobbie. I look forward to spending a lot of time here. Thanks.

Hi Rhys - Not for a belt, but I’ve got some macrame info here:

Maybe you could use a bracelet project and just make it really long?
