    One of my New Year’s resolutions is to start making more beads and gaining more jewelry making skills. Don’t know if I am brave enough for lamp work but I think soldering a little silver could be my next step!

    It’s really not that hard, but the kiln and equipment can be a rather large expense. I’d recommend trying it out in a class or at a friend’s before deciding to dive in. This video has great info (I’ve got the basic one and used it as a refresher), but the best thing I ever did was to take a two-day intro class.
