If you live on the eastcoast and have considered trying to get certifed in PMC (Precious Metal Clay), then you may find this email I received of interest:

For the first time ever on the East Coast, Level 3 Certification is being offered this summer in the beautiful mountain community of Flat Rock NC, July 21-22, 2007.

Beat the summer heat in the tranquil, laid back mountains of NC and learn all the latest and greatest PMC techniques in this new Level 3 program.  This class features hinged box construction, Keum Boo, and advanced stones setting techniques.  Cost:  $325, plus a $75 bench fee.
 
A Water Etching and Slip Trailing class will also be offered on Friday, July 20.  Cost $125.
