Jewelry Displays

by christina on May 29th, 2007

braceletdisplay.jpgIf you sell your jewelry at arts and craft shows - or want to some day - then there’s all kinds of extras you need to show off your jewelry, and that includes jewelry displays. It can be tricky finding this sort of thing, and yes, I know some crafty jewelry makers actually make their own, but hey, what would you rather do? Make jewelry or make a display?

One company that sells jewelry making supplies but also has a pretty large selection of jewelry displays is Nile, and I think their prices seem pretty reasonable too. While you don’t necessarily want to spend a lot of money on displays, just a few here and there in your show booth can really add a more professional appearance.

Tammy - you should check out the displays at Subastral. (subastralinc.com). They do wought iron jewelry displays for personal & professional use. It gives a great look to a display of Artisan jewelry or chunky stone jewelry that the velvet just doesn’t work for!!! I just ordered one of the T-Bar Necklace Displays - it was soooo much lighter (weight) that I expected - very easy to transport and the patina was lovely!

I want so much to like Nile, because everyone else seems to. The one time I ordered from them was a complete disaster, though - they just didn’t fill the order or ship it, and when I called they said it would be several weeks. I needed the displays that week, not next month, so I asked them to refund my money.

That, and no matter how many times I unsubscribe from their mailing list, I still get junk emails from them. I’d love to hear from some people who had good experiences with them.

I have visited the Website of Jemco Jewelry Supply and they also go to many of The International Gem and Jewelry Shows.Their website is http://www.jemcousa.com.They have a wide variety of displays and supplies for beginners and businesses. And if they don’t have it they will try to get it for you.
