Macrame E-Course
I’m giving my blog readers the inside scoop on a new e-course I just put together: Macrame Jewelry Basics. This one is for macrame jewelry making. It’s a 6 week, 6 lesson class you can receive weekly via email, and like my other e-courses it’s free.
If you’ve been thinking of trying macrame or just like to work with fiber and would like to add a few knotting techniques to your jewelry skills, this is a good course for you. I’m an old macrame-er from way (way, way) back, so I still enjoy picking up some cording and knotting now and then. You can’t beat if for low-tech jewelry making.

Cool! I recently picked up a book at Michael’s by, oh I forget, but it’s got a blue necklace w/chips and pearls in a sort of v-shaped netting on the front?
I’ve made 1.5 things out of it so far, early/easy ones, but I’ll be signing up for your course too, to help things along! Not that her book doesn’t teach well, but I’m very computer-oriented and it’ll be fun to get info that way, and be an extra kick in the pants to get with it (it’s been sitting aside for a bit, waiting for me to ream a couple more amethyst sticks; the Beadalon little battery powered reamer I got is junk, the tips fall out no matter how I put them in, so I need to find something better, maybe you could review reamers sometime? I think Beadsmith has a decently priced one . . .)
