How to Find Bead Shows
I had someone comment asking about how to find a bead show in her area, and I thought this was actually a good topic generally speaking: How do you find bead shows?
Here are a few resources to help you track down bead shows in your area:
- Jewelry and Beading magazines: There are loads of them these days such as Jewelry Crafts, Bead & Button, Art Jewelry, etc. Many show vendors advertise in these type o f magazines. Also, many of these magazines have a calendar of events, which includes shows, classes, and other related events.
- Lapidary Journal web site: It has a page just for show listings, and this includes shows all over the US as well as the world.
- Jewelry Making Forums: There are jewelry and beading forums all over the web. Members will often post news of up coming shows or review shows they recently attended.
- Word of Mouth: If you have bead buddies or if you are part of a rock club, ask around of show recommendations.
Finally, I do now and then posts show information on this blog. So, sign up for my RSS feed or just stop by every day

There’s a very large bead show list that I update weekly at the Kintera Arts website. http://kinteraarts.com/bead-show-list.shtml
