Losing My Beads
I swear sometimes I wonder about myself! Today I got this really cool beading calendar in the mail. I actually bought this same calendar as a present for a beading buddy this holiday season, and it was one of those gifts that you get for some one else, but after you get it, you wish you’d bought one for yourself.
I get books and products in the mail regularly from suppliers who want me to review their products, so I thought, “Oh, it must be for a review.”
Then as I started pulling off the plastic and looking at it, a little light finally went off - ding! - I’m in the calendar!
I’d totally forgotten that I sent off my beaded butterfly and beaded bunny to be included in this calendar. My payment was a free calendar. Yes, I know big whoop, but it’s actually a pretty cool calendar, and I’d already made the pieces, so it wasn’t much work other than mailing them off to the publisher.
I found the butterfly is in May, still looking for the bead and wire bunny….

That’s true. Sure would have been an easy review to write.

Hi Tammy,
I picked one of these calendars up in the post Christmas sales. I have it beside the computer. Must take a flick to find your projects. ;-)

What a wonderful surprise for you! And, you got all of us to buy a copy of the calendar, because you recommended it. Not sure if you get any kickbacks for that…
