Pasta for Polymer

by Tammy Powley on December 5th, 2006

Well, Joan was right! Using a cart at Michael’s was a royal PIA, but I had a lot to buy, including a pasta machine!

As you may or may not know, these are super handy for conditioning polymer clay. While they used to be pretty pricey, they are kind of like computers - they get cheaper and cheaper. The one I purchased at Michael’s was normally $24, but of course, I had my 40% off coupon!

Michael’s web site also has a wonderful tutorial about how to condition polymer clay using a pasta machine. Now I’ve just got to get rolling!

LOL All those Michaels stores are running a conspiracy. They trap you in something that resembles your own most likely cluttered studio and you’ll feel at home to start grabbing things off the shelves. The good news is that if you do accidentally knock something off the shelves, you can quickly hide.
