Polymer Clay Snowmen

by Tammy Powley on November 15th, 2006

Polymer clay has come a long way from the days when we made canes and cut them into beads for the soft of 60s look. These adorable snowmen pendants are made by polymer clay artist Heather Powers from Humble Beads, and her beads are anything but humble!

What adorable Polymer snowmen. Tammy, since I won’t be here during Thanksgiving week I would like to wish you and yours a very happy holiday. I never miss one of your posts.

The snowmen are beautiful. I have never been a big fan of Polymer beads, but Heather’s Work is fantastic.

She inspired me to go out and by some clay and pasta machine. Now, I just need to get past that and actually do something with them! But, her work goes beyond what I’m used to seeing.

I ordered a book on ebay last night “How to make Polymer clay beads” by Carol Blackburn so I’m quite excited and can’t wait for its arrival to go out on a shopping trip and buy all the necessary tools. You will have to post some of your trials on your blog so we can see how the results develop over the months.
