End of Summer Earrings

I don’t get to the beach as much as I should or thought I would when I moved back to the coast about 10 years ago. I had visions of myself tan, thin, wearing a bikini, and selling my jewelry to snow-birds on the beach.

In reality, I’m not tan, not thin, no way am I get into a bikini any time soon, and I maybe make it to the beach once or twice a year. When I do go, it’s usually in the late afternoon or early evening and my husband uses his metal detector to find bottle caps and I comb the beach for shells and other jewelry treasures.

Summer is slipping away (again) and so I thought I would at least make some earrings from some of the shells I picked up on my last beach trip: Knotting Macrame Earrings.
