Mixed Media Jewelry Book Final Touches
I am finishing the final touches on my mixed media jewelry book. I just received the manuscript yesterday from the copyeditor. She’s the one that gets to count all the beads in the projects and make sure they add up correctly. Fun job!
It is still kind of hard to picture the whole thing at this point, but I can say this baby is packed full of jewelry. I only made a few of the pieces in it because this is a collaborative book, and I haven’t done a tally on the number of designers involved, but I’d guess there are a few dozen. Many of them provided multiple pieces, so there are about 21 projects, and around 30+ gallery pieces.
This is the largest books I’ve ever written, and really different since I had to deconstruct jewelry that was already made - by someone else no less - so, yes, very challenging to the say the least.
Ah, almost done though.
And now, I’m already thinking about another book. What next? Hmmm…..

I’m also looking forward to it, but it might be a bit longer before I see one here in Australia. Congrats on getting this far with it. Must be rewarding. ;-)
