Jewelry Making TV Today

DIY’s jewelry making show, hosted by Jackie G, just seems to get better and better. I just wish they didn’t have so many reruns.
I have seen most of them, so while I have the TV on in the other room, I’m pretty used to going about my day and assuming I’ve already seen whatever jewelry show episode they run that day. But, today, I had to stop because it was a new show! Not only that, but the project I saw was super cool – a twisted wire and bead necklace by Mary Thomas. She used a combination of braiding and twisting. It kind of reminded me of a wire and bead tiara I made a few years ago where after making the frame, I slipped on a bead, twisted the wire, splipped on a bead, etc. until I made my way all around.
Unfortunately, the URL to Mary’s web site provided by DIY doesn’t work. I did some searching on google but with no luck. As usual, the pictures and instructions on DIY’s web site have a lot to be desired, so if you can’t get a good look at what I’m talking about from that (or the picture I borrowed here), then check your local listings to see when they show this episode again. Trust me – definitely a show worth seeing if you like wire and beads.
Here’s the link to today’s shows that includes all the projects: All Choked Up.

Hi guys. I was just doing a search on msn for blogs about the hit tv show “Lost” and I found this blog. I have had a read through some of the posts and it seems fun so I have bookmarked it.
Keep up the good work,
William
